Im new here, hoping to get my first hobbyzone plane soon, its in the mail as we speak. Then I saw this and had to get it. So I have all the parts just need to make the circuit.
It seems the scheme is made in AutoTrax, does any1 have the file, so I can convert to PCB, or does any1 have any tips n mehtods to make the circuit easily, maybe some kind of breadboard diagram?
Many Thanks
Looking forward to any replies.

BTW, it is a 2-sided PCB. Given that it is a simple project, it might be easier to just build it on perfboard.

ill try on stripboard, the scheme just looks a bit complicated.
do you have any other diagrams or pictures that might help, maybe a high res pic of the backof the one you made?
thanks

just a few questions:
1. the scheme shows 5 pins on one side and 3 on the other, but the chip has 4 on each. are the pin numbers on the scheme the same as the pins on the chip?
2. xport BAT+ goes into the LM2940T and the 5.0v output from that supplies the rest of the 5V circuit rite?
3. I dont quite get how to wire pin2 from the chip to the shutter header, does it goto pin 1 of ps2501?
thanks man

2. Yes. Just follow the schematic.
3. PIC Pin 2 goes to the PS2501. Please see schematic.
I highly recommend you find someone with electronic experience to give you some hands-on help.

im almost done now.
just wanted to point out the parts list is wrong.
states 1x220RES needed, actually need 2.
i ordered my parts all the way from digi-key in usa, which is tuff when im in UK. now i have to go find some locally.

Thanks for the report. I'll fix the BOM.just wanted to point out the parts list is wrong.
states 1x220RES needed, actually need 2.
Then you are in luck. They have a minimum of 5 pcs for that item, so you should have four more in the bag.i ordered my parts all the way from digi-key in usa,

i ordered them and got straight headers, which although can be used, are not as convenient as the right angled headers.
so part list should be changed
from:
A26508-ND
to:
A26510-09-ND (for 9 pins, enough for 1 circuit (3+2+2+2))
A26510-40-ND (for a row of 40) (more cost effective)
once im done all post some pics.
