I have an ALM-2451G camera with integrated TX. This time of the year the camera is unusable because lots of vertical coloured lines appears when the system gets cold. I have tested it on a variable voltage supply, and when lowering the voltage (the camera being warm and picture clear) these lines appears. I run it on a 5volt circuit. I tried 6volt,but the picture went white. The data sheet says the system can take 4.8-7.2VDC. I guess I have to get a pot and adjust the camera voltage after the weather conditions.
Anyone else with similar experience?

I solved the problem and will just make a short comment on the fix. I made a 6v battery pack and added a 0-250ohm trim pot to it. This way I can trim the power supply for all temperatures.

I would rather have used a LDO regulator... your pot must get quite warm..
