Refer me a GPS receiver

Hi all,

I have started to work on a project that involves interfacing a GPS receiver with the laptop and then FPGA.

Can some one please refer me a model no. for the receiver.

There are many different ones see http://www.sparkfun....egories.php?c=4

Some require 3.3v supply and others 5v supply. The update rate is also a parameter that will be important depending on what you are designing. Some have a binary mode that offers greater flexibility than the standard NMEA messages, as well as different interfaces (serial, usb etc).

Thanks for the advice, I have ordered GLOBALSAT BU353 SIRFSTAR III USB GPS RECEIVER, hopefully I would be able to interface it via the serial USB2.0 port.
