i just saw that dcpav sells a cable for this. i will get the cable. do i need a ssoftware or anything or will the file dcpav sends me go directly to the booloader ? i also want to use the rpm sensor how many magnets do i need? my motor has 14 poles i dont knoe if thats hoe many magnets i need. sorry for all the questions -

sorry for my ignorance. i dont know how to connect the inspire osd to my computer . i dont have a bootloader. can you please explain. in the meantime i will research how to . thanks] -
hey mr rc-cam i was just on the dcpav website and they have ainspire 3.4 addendum. how can i upgrade my inspire osd to show mAh data? how would i upgrade my firmware?

i hacked a geko 201 out of the case and added aj st connector to the back to power it off the inspire osd and now it barely weighs anything and i can fit it almsot anywhere. i use it for exsactly what you want, a home heading only for now. what i do is a make a route on the geko by marking the point of where i launch my plane as a route point and then i walk like 20 feet and mark another route point and i tell the geko to follow this route . when i take off and i pass the route points, no matter where i go the arrow is always pointing home since i only did a simple two point route that is rig

ok here is the pic of the back of the camera i compared it with a kx 131 -
i purchased a sony 520 line camera from future hobbies about ayear ago. i broke the connector that hooks up to the back of the camera . the wires snapped loose and i cant repair it. i emailed them to find out if they had spare and didnt get any return email TWICE. i dont know where i can find this wire. i have a kx 131 but its not the same wire. please help thanks

thanks for clearing that up terry and rob. i still cant show any pics since everything is stuck in shipping . yesterday i got my smaller kx 131 and a mag track. i had to buy a futaba 9 channel yeterday(used)for the magtrack. this hurts me since i only fly JR. -

i've also read that it is better to cut one of the red wires that feeds the receiver so that both engines are right on sync. do you have any inout on that? -

yes terry i think i follow you . basically we are also runnning the ESC's in parrallel also correct? teryy thank you very much for your valuable time to answer my questions. just to pick your brain, what is the difference in hooking up the battery and esc in parallel as opposed to separate. is it to avoid having one side use more juice than the other? i just want to make sure this is the reason. thanks again -

thanks guys i have everything ordered. i got the twinstar from horsehobby.com or something like that. i got a new kx 131 camera since the one i have is a 520 tv line and its a bit heavy . im gonna use that one for my telemaster fpv/ uav platform. i got two 2808 equivalent and two 2200 mah batteries. i have my mag track and pan and tilt assembly. i have one question about the twinstar brushless setup. since i dont have any experience with electrics other than the easy star. how do i hookup the two batteries to the two esc's to the receiver.do i connect each battery to each esc and they just Y t -
