Attention: RC-CAM.com will be closing down August 2021.

The RC-Cam.com forum was the very first online community dedicated to the advancement of wireless video cameras on radio controlled (R/C) models. This is now called "FPV" (First Person View). We are proud of the contributions that our members have made to the FPV hobby.

We've seen significant changes over the last twenty years. Initially there were a lot of eager R/C hobbyist that built their own video systems. Allowing these creative individuals to share their work was the purpose of this site. Now the FPV market is flooded with low cost systems; Sadly DiY FPV video projects are now rarely discussed.

RC-CAM.com (main site and forum) will be closing down August 2021. This is being announced now (March 2021) so that everyone has time to download any information that is important to them. After the site is shutdown the information will no longer be available here.

We appreciate every member's involvement with advancing the FPV hobby. It is indeed sad to say goodbye to all our online friends. Be safe and stay healthy.

  7. Rob, you can't see that, but my face just turned red! Thank you. Did you start on Fpv flying? I'm very blundering with a PC , so I never been able to upload and use video movie maker, so there are lot of better videos aboard the Canari you will not see . 8. Hello acristobal It's really international, here. Great! The speed gauge is based on the "Alti OSD". It has been modified by a friend of mine with a différencial pressure, and to drive a servo ( is it the good word in english? ) Because I prefer to have the speed on a pointer gauge than numbers on the screen. My frien ( very good friend! ) made a regular Alti OSD too, ti gaves me altitude and voltage of the video battery. I just recieved a new device: a "fuel" gauge. For 3 cells lipo ( a very very very gooooooood friend!! ). It has not flown yet. His website: http://www.tera-conce
  9. Did you try: "autres videos de cet utilisateur? for example: http://video.google.fr/url?docid=-78533419...ZDT400ZjV6qE07g
  10. Thank you, Jhon. The gauge is a speed indicator. You can see the Pitot pipe under the port wing. I like to have this indication. Not indispensable with this plane, but with some other, it's not the same. My précédent fpv plane ( 2.5m, 5kg ) had a "too slow" buzzer too. Very efficient: you can turn your head and look around without danger. No need to keep an eye on the speed indicator. When you heard the buzzer screaming in the cockpit, you know you have to push slghtly on the stick. My next fpv plane will have this device. John, sometime I forget i'm not on the hard ground ( in french

It was also my first successfull fpv flight since more than a year of break ( important change in my life ), after two bad trys to come back. ( see: "a un metre près, ça passait".
