LoMA Pulse detection

Hi Mr. r-c cam,

I wired up 5 LoMA today and they all worked :lol:

However, I thought I had a bad receiver as they would sometimes go to alarm and would not turn off with xmtr sig on.

Then got checking pulse presence with a scope and discovered that if the pulse width goes to a full 2 ms, the alarm sounds and the glitch counter counts it as a lost signal.

This is obviously NOT a missing pulse detector.

Do you have it programmed for a range of pulse width? Why does it sound the alarm when 2 ms pulses are present? :huh:

Just curious. It will work fine so long as I know what to expect. ATV and/or trim set for full pulse widths will not work with it.

The LoMA is designed to flag >2.05mS as a bad pulse. This is to support PCM receivers. It is mentioned in the project details, honest. :) Just install LoMA on a channel that has the ATV set for slightly less throw.

:P You are correct....it is there, but since it is under the PCM paragraph and I don't use PCM, I ignored it. :wacko: Thanks for the quick reply.
