Another patch antenna question

Hello,

I'm planning on making a patch antenna for my wireless cam, only problem is I don't know what frequency it's on so I don't know what size to make it :(http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=9126117873 thats a limk to the ebay auchtion I got it from, can you tell from that?, if not how else can I find out? Go easy on my, I'm new to this.

Hm, chack if there isn't a "1.2G" or "2.4G" sticker somewhere... otherwise from the price I guess that would be 1.2GHz...

As it says "50mW" power I would say 1.2GHz. If it is 2.4GHz? it would be illegal power.

That doesn't mean anything... It's illegal in certain countries, not in others.

Cheap HK stuff often ranges at 10, 50, 200 and 800mW "announced" power.

From more serious suppliers you'll find easily anything between 10mW and 5W, all of these in 2.4GHz.

BTW, use of the 1.2GHz band in itself is already illegal in most countries, and actually more risky with regards to authorities than a slight overpower in an authorised band...
