Possible interference ?

Recommended Posts

I am just about to start building part of my new video receiver project and I would like a bit of input from you guys. I intend to mount a 12F508 on the same PCB as an AWM508 RX module. First question is should I do it ? and the second is if I do should I feed them with separate regulators ?

Thanks, Terry

That what I thought but its the first time I have used it as I have always used the old 16c54 and 16c71 chips in the past and they gave me lots of trouble at times I thought I better ask. So I take it no special care advised for this one then :)

Thanks, Terry

The only special touch is just the usual decoupling cap as close to the PIC as possible. With 72Mhz R/C gear, I do not get any interference from this part.

It would be very unusual for a 2.4Ghz Rx to be impacted since its pass band is octaves away from the PIC's internal operating freq.
