Vrflyer 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2006 My last modification was to integrated the RC-tech gyroscope from Kilrah to my headset and use the Radio battery to power the headset, receiver, gyro.
Vrflyer 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2006 Everything work fine, but I decided to remove the RC-tech gyroscope and install the Aeropix gyro. Aeropix gyro is the same size as my receiver, so on one side I have the receiver, and on the other I will have Aeropix gyro. I want also to change my headset with something smaller and lighter, the RC-tech gyro is smaller and it will fit nicely with my new headset.

Vrflyer 0 Report post Posted December 27, 2006 Front view. My headset has suffered a lot from years of experimentation... The receiver was integrated in the headset by me, and removed last years after I discovered a receiver must be inside metallic case to improve reception, so I made metallic case and installed the receiver on the side, and it was better. My receiver is still not perfect, Anthony's receiver surpasses mine, but it’s bigger and too heavy for my headset. I have an idea for my new headset, I will discuss another day about it. Hello Denis, Is it the i-glasses SVGA 3D? Besides the difference on sizes, what else is different between the two Gyros? I got my gyro from Anthony, but I don't have the Kilrah's to compare. Are you using a router type high gain antenna, 2.4-2.5 ghz? Sorry if I have been asking too much Merci. Edited December 27, 2006 by wilson
