I think he added them later. In the mean time I found the answer in this thread.

The small servos can be added exactly on the balance line, so it will not through off the balance.

Yes I added two ailerons and also have oversize rudder. The wing was glue permanently on the fuse. I will add it again on my second Easystar, but this time the wings will be removable

The aileron was there on video Bromont, they are not visible on the picture.

Thanks Denis. I just came back from vacation and noticed your post. Since then I also added ailerons to my easystar, and had one flight with it. I did not chnge anything on the rudder.

I noticed that at slow speeds the ailerons are not that effective, so I do have to use the rudder as well to control the plane when it is sailing or thermalling.

Did you notice similar reaction from your plane? I also noticed that your wings seem more straight than mine. Did you straightened them?
