Mine holds level flight at about 85 Watts (7.5 Amps with 3 LiPo).

Same with my 2.1kg Moviestar. It will still climb at 45° with its 300W peak...

You must be flying too fast. Easy to do with those electrics. It helped a lot on my Moviestar once I had the current reading. I could quickly see that I was flying using nearly twice the needed power if not watching...

My Ap TwinStar pulls only 19amps max and 210 watts and at level flight at 10amps and 100 watts. It weighs 12oz less then the FPV TwinStar.

Here's a little video from the AP one I just took over the weekend. The landing is not one of my best but nothing damage. Hard to put it down on a turn :) .

What kind of range are you getting with that 900 mhz Tx and Rx set up?

I'm not sure, I lost radio when I was over a mile away and still was getting a great video signal and my spotter could no longer see the plane. further then I will fly again :) .

some video

hi, i am also using spektrum for fpv but havent really gone too far yet. what kind of range are you getting on the spektrum?

Welcome to rc-cam rking, Yes I do use a Spectrum DX7 and I have no problems with the links since I use a 900mhz TX & RX. The range is over a mile and I don't really fly that far anymore but it's nice to know I can.
