I looked at it. Very tiny indeed. But I think that by the time you add the GPS patch antenna to it, you'll find that the Globalsat EM-406 or EM-411 would be the same size and lower cost.

and the EM406 use the cool SirfStar3 chip set, and are cheap.

Try to get the new A version, since it handle 2.4GHz video transmitters much better

than the old non A version,

it also give you a higher sat reading,

I have seen 12 sats when flying FPV with video TX on !

it must be at least 40cm away for that :-)

but no problem, on my new Video plane a 2m distance is possible :-)

I will install a GPS in my new Easystar, the GPS you sell me last week. Do I need to kept a minimal distance between the GPS antenna and the 500mW tx ?

Every installation is different. Perhaps aim for no closer than 15cm's or so from the 500mW Airwave. If your GPS interface allows you to see the satellite count and HDOP value, then you can easily check your installation to see if your GPS location is acceptable.
