robyr1 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2007 hi to everybody!! i just bought a ORACLE diversity receiver from dpcav.com I'm not a flight hobbyst, but i bought this equipment because i would like to test it on a race track, from an "on board camera",with a 1000mW 2,4ghz. I have a very big 24db antenna,a YAGI of 10db and an omni panel of 10 db. I tested equipment with hi gain 24db and YAGY,and it work good (tested in my house only!). My question:can i put the YAGI antenna and omni panel antenna in parallel? Can i increase my RX with these 3 antenna's?Remember wich my use is not for flight, but for ground! Here are a sample pic of what i would like to do: www.onboardcamera.it/txrx.jpg Any suggest?
Mr.RC-Cam 126 Report post Posted July 15, 2007 You cannot simply install the antennas in parallel. You must maintain impedance matching. Here is a discussion about mixing two antennas together: http://www.rc-cam.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1528

Mr.RC-Cam 126 Report post Posted July 16, 2007 I recommend you try them all. Plus, it might be easiest to try them one at a time to help identify which work well.
