A sun protection to our cameras

Recommended Posts

This is my camera's sun protection to avoid the direct sunlight that can cause the darkness of the camera.

it is made with black mate vinyl, acetato and double sided tape.

I remember than exterior cameras use similar hats.

looks nice, but what about wind load ?

can you feel the difference when flying ?

how much shorter battery time ?

Perhaps that shape, in practice, streamlines the top of the camera, and thereby decreases the drag, rather than increase it.

in practice i hadn't retrim the elevator, and i didn't appreciate any differences in flight.

In this plane the camera is a bit nose down in normal flight and i suppose the wind incide in the same front angle like a normal cabin.

I think it will work fine. By the way looks like TX is from future hobbies. If so I have the same one. 1000 milliwatt. 600 milliwatt looks similar Works great! Use with diversity RX and two 12 DBI patch antennas. Will post on you tube soon. lvsupertech there.

By the way, Is it possible to shift say battery pack toward rear to get the balance CG right? since a little nose heavy. I try not to add weight If I do not have to.
