Screaming MIC giving me an headache!

Recommended Posts

I've had this pre amp mic for my set up for several months now and decided to connect it to my TX. She screams when in the fuse but stops when it picks up motor or wind noise. Do I need a pot for this to reduce the signal? If so how do I install the pot to the mic?

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

John

on the audio output, add a series dc blocking capacitor,

now simply use a 1k to 10k trimmer, top pin connected to this input,

center pin is output to your TX, and the last pin is ground.

please delete your other posting, so only one is alive
