Lost Plane device for FASST

Recommended Posts

On my Futaba FASST system, if you crash in heavy forest or brush the signal out of the receiver continues to look good after you turn the transmitter off (keeps outputting last known good signal to servo) so a pulse ommision type triggered fail safe continues to think it is getting a good signal and will not activate. If it is self powered and you lose the battery connection to the receiver, it will respond but; sometimes the receiver continues to receive power after the crash. Any ideas to cover such unfortunate event should the receiver remain powered up? /Thanks, Rodney

Does the FASST Rx have programmable failsafe? If so, LoMA should work if you program a spare servo output to >2.05mS.
