FAA reveals first cut at small UAS systems

The US Federal Aviation Administration has developed a rudimentary set of ground rules for the certification and operation of "small" unmanned air vehicles in civilian airspace. Full text of the online article:

Interesting. I would like to know what constitutes "densely populated urban areas" and "all other areas". Living in the outskirts of the D.C. suburbs, I could find areas that would qualify for either case in my area. However, what will be important is what the "official" rule is on locations. This is important because there's a pretty big difference between 400ft AGL and 1200ft AGL. Also, this "FAA-certificated" definitely will need mucho clarification.
