Attention: RC-CAM.com will be closing down August 2021.

The RC-Cam.com forum was the very first online community dedicated to the advancement of wireless video cameras on radio controlled (R/C) models. This is now called "FPV" (First Person View). We are proud of the contributions that our members have made to the FPV hobby.

We've seen significant changes over the last twenty years. Initially there were a lot of eager R/C hobbyist that built their own video systems. Allowing these creative individuals to share their work was the purpose of this site. Now the FPV market is flooded with low cost systems; Sadly DiY FPV video projects are now rarely discussed.

RC-CAM.com (main site and forum) will be closing down August 2021. This is being announced now (March 2021) so that everyone has time to download any information that is important to them. After the site is shutdown the information will no longer be available here.

We appreciate every member's involvement with advancing the FPV hobby. It is indeed sad to say goodbye to all our online friends. Be safe and stay healthy.

Hello with you all,

Minor problems to be solved. I assembled the landtastic with a 12f675 in version deluxe. The operation of the servo idle is perfect, on the other hand fires of strobe pose a problem to me.

With the startup of the X-ray they work at the end of 3-4 seconds. If I do not put the TX in action it keeps operating, but if I bring the TX into service and without anything to touch it die out and is not re-ignited.

Would you have a solution?

Forgiven my English who is not as well as possible of his form, for me which am French it is not always easy.

I wish you a good day.

Upon boot, if the R/C pulse is missing you will see a slow single blink strobe. This is a warning feature. Your report confirms this is working fine.

When valid R/C pulses are first applied, the strobe turns off. It remains off until you arm Landtastic. Arming requires servo pulses less than 1.25ms, then pulses greater than 1.75mS. Once armed, the double wink strobe will appear. Your report says you do not see the double wink, so that means you have not armed the Landtastic.
