mrfliboy 0
I've recently acquired a FCO2 that had been reverse polarized. Upon inspection there was a smd electronic component blown. Thinking it was a diode, I replaced it with a diode I had laying around (4001). No go on that one. Upon further inspection I noticed the symbol I( with C79 beside it. I than tried a 47uf50v cap in its place and viola working FCO2. Now I get to work to play some more and the cap had fallen off but all still works. The cap is located next to the positive lead of the lipo. Question being any thoughts on what it did? Attached is a pic of the blown cap, left side positive lead. Thanks as always
