Hmmm. There's no pilot. Just a wearable positioning wristband that the Quadcopter follows.

Looks like the Airdog is still in the pre-order mode. But 3D Robotics recently released their IRIS+ Quad with follow-me capabilities.

And yes, that is Colin Guinn narrating the 3dr (3D Robotics) video. A few months after the blow-up at DJI North America he joined 3dr.

BTW, given the fast evolution of the things coming from 3dr, it looks like it would be an exciting place to work. It seems like yesterday that the co-founder (Chris) was a hobby UAV enthusiast experimenting with a crude R/C stabilizer that was hacked from his son's Lego Mindstorm toy. And to think I felt sorry for him back then because of the primitive stuff he was working with. Impressive to see what has been accomplished in such a short time!
