Warning about X10 company

I ordered X10 camera using my home email account. Now I get an amazing number of spam messages. Sometimes 5 in a day. I clicked the link to remove myself one time, and it gave some warning which to me was basically a threat that if you remove yourself from the mailing list, they will publish your email all over the place and you will get even more spam. That was enough to deter me, so I am still getting their spam constantly. They are relentless.

So my advice is either : (1) don't order the xcam; (2) give a temporary email address that you can abandon later.

I have been there and done that with X10.

The email will stop in a few weeks or even months.

I don't buy any of there stuff any more, most of it is crud anyway.

I think that you will do much better to buy from Bill at Black Widow.

I have used his stuff and it is much better and you deal directly with Bill not some guy that last week could not spell V I D E O and this week he is in sales or what X10 calls there tech support.

I have never gotten any spam from Bill at Black Widow.

They are very aggressive spammers. However, when I opted out the emails stopped within days.
