Hello all,

I'm a student up in Edmonton, Alberta and I just started working on a UAV project. I'm wondering what is needed for the camera system, the idea I have in my head right now is:

plug the video out port into the transmitter and that's that.

What am I missing?

I'm also looking at cameras, and through some experimentation, found that a low level board camera can provide the needed quality. I've looked at toshiba, sentech and uniqvision cameras, and they all seem ok. Does anyone have any favourite board cams that give results?

Regards,

big fool

It can be as easy as that. But sometimes it is not so plug and go. It really depends on what you buy, how you install it, and your expectations.

I prefer the Panasonic CX-161 over anything else in the sub $100 class of color CCD board cams. It was discontinued two years ago, so it can be hard to find.
