goose 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2005 (edited) Hey, I have a wee problem with my trainer, I have spent about 3 hours setting up my elevators on my trainer after the metal rods that where supplied with it, snapped after one bend SO I had to buy more metal and rebuild the elevator. At the minute I am trying to find out just how much "throw" you lot have, and I was wondering if the throw on my aircraft is ok for learning. I get about 8/10 Degrees throw Down and about 15/20 degrees throw up, I hope it is alright. Sorry if I posted this topic in the wrong section. - Phil Edited March 16, 2005 by goose

Mr.RC-Cam 123 Report post Posted March 16, 2005 It appears to be double posted because it has been moved. I'll delete the old link if I can. Your model's instructions should indicate the throw for each control surface. Just follow whatever they suggest.
Terry 5 Report post Posted March 18, 2005 The amount of throw needed will depend a lot on your C of G, I just fly it and see. If your in any dought do as Mr RC-Cam says and follow the instructions. Terry
