why 2 watts? I have transmitted video from airplane to ground over 20 miles (32km) with 1 watt.

Power doesn't overcome antenna selection and it just increases multipath interference problems exponentially.

Yea, I thought that as well. Multipath interference is our biggest enemy with aerial video. Took me years to figure it out, and another to design and build a marketable diversity receiver.

Blackwidowav.com is now distributing my diversity receiver, check out my video at

http://www.klarichelectronics.com/diversit...y_receivers.htm

under KEDRX-2401

That was shot with a 600mW transmitter.

I think this is the way I am going to go

as I understand it Black widow do a series 2 ready to fly set with a PAL camera .I take it this would be copatable with your 2402?

Is that the most cost effective route as it seems I would be buying an Rx in the ready to fly package that I dont need

I am happy to remove the basic receiver from the RTF kit for anyone interested in purchasing the diversity receiver instead.

would the diversity reciever work with my 1.2 system (400mw) from Tinywireless.com? If so, would I need to build a patch antenna? I'm very interested in this reciever!
