I had a look at it for interests sake but Im not sure how effective it is a a serious tool. I use a reflectometer for tuning my aerials.

Mine is made up of parts I got from ebay. I have a tunable oscilator made by marconi into a isolator made by racal into a directional coupler made by midwest microwave. I have a microwave diode that connects to the coupler that then connects to a multimeter. The aerial under test connects to the output from the coupler and I can read the amount of reflected power from the aerial on the meter. The better the aerial the lower the reflected power. By measuring the power reflected at different frequencys I can tell if the aerial needs to be tuned higher or lower.

The parts were not cheap but it dose cut down on tuning time compared to using a field strength meter.

I had a quick look but didnt see any performance figures for the blade. I dont think it looks like it will be better than the aerials we use now.

A dipole or groundplane aerial on the plane and a patch aerial on the receiver seems to be hard to beat.

Your welcome to send me your aerial for checking but Im in the UK :)
